How can we help with TradeMirrorly?
Plain explainers for every part of the app, from your first signal to the Journal.
Start here
What TradeMirrorly does, how a signal becomes a trade, and the order to set it up in.
What is TradeMirrorly?
A desktop app for Windows and macOS that copies the Telegram signals and TradingView alerts you choose to your MT4, MT5, TradeLocker or Match-Trader account.
How trade copying works
What happens between a signal posted on Telegram and a trade on your account, step by step, and where each step shows in the app.
Recommended setup checklist
Follow this order for the smoothest setup: trial and license key, Telegram, your trading account, symbol names, then your first channel on a demo account.
Home at a glance
Home says in one line whether everything is running, or the first thing to fix, beside your accounts, today's signals and your broker's live prices.
Plans, computers and trading accounts
What Basic Starter and Pro Advantage include, how computer and account seats work, and how to add an extra trading account.
Connections
Your license, Telegram, the EA in MetaTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and TradingView webhooks.
Activate your license key
Paste your TM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX key once per computer: where to find it, and what to do when every computer seat is in use.
Sign in to Telegram
Scan a QR code with the Telegram app on your phone, or use your phone number. Two-step passwords work, and the session stays on your computer.
Copy channels, groups, topics and bots
Switch on the Telegram chats you want copied, per trading account, and read each channel's status, last signal and 14-day activity.
Install the EA in MetaTrader 4 or 5
The app finds every MetaTrader 4 and 5 on your computer, installs the TradeMirrorly EA with one click, and opens the terminal with it running.
Add a TradeLocker account
Add a TradeLocker account, demo or live, with your email, password and server. The app trades it itself, with no EA and no MetaTrader.
Add a Match-Trader account
Add a Match-Trader account at any broker with its platform address, your email and password. The app trades it itself, with no EA.
My brokers: every account in one place
Every MT4, MT5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader account on your license on one page: broker, server, whether it trades, balance and open trades.
Copy TradingView alerts with webhooks
Copy TradingView alerts, or anything that can send an HTTP POST, like a Telegram channel: same trade settings, same Signals page. Pro only.
Reading signals
How signals and replies are read, a channel's own words, and your broker's symbol names.
How signals are read
BUY or SELL, the symbol, entry, SL and any number of TPs are read with no setup, in 11 languages. What a readable signal looks like.
Replies that manage trades
Close, close half, breakeven, TP hit and a new SL or TP are read from replies to the original signal, in the same 11 languages.
Channel keywords
When a channel writes signals its own way, teach TradeMirrorly its words, with suggestions while you type. Share a setup as a sealed .tmk file.
Symbol names: GOLD, XAUUSD and your broker
GOLD in the channel, XAUUSD at your broker? TradeMirrorly compares the two lists and suggests the names to add, one click each.
Trade settings
Size, TP split, entry, SL and TP, breakeven, profit lock, trailing, hours and limits, per channel.
Trade size and TP split
Set how big each signal is, in lots, money at risk or % of the balance, and how it splits over the TPs, with a preview of what a signal opens.
Entry, SL and TP
Market or pending entry, the signal's SL and TPs or your own, risk:reward targets, shifts and reverse: how each setting changes a trade.
Breakeven, profit lock and trailing
Move the SL to entry automatically, lock profit as TPs are hit, and trail the price: each one a switch you set per channel, off until you turn it on.
Trading hours, limits and the daily loss limit
Copy only inside your hours, cap open trades overall and per symbol, close opposite trades, and stop new trades after the day's loss you set.
Settings per channel
Every channel can trade by its own rules. How Essentials, All settings, saving and resets work, and when the EA starts using them.
Signals and Journal
What happened to every signal, which channels send signals, and the trade Journal.
Signals: what happened to every signal
Every signal, newest first, with what became of it: opened, at what price, or why not and what to fix. Click any row for its timeline.
The channel scorecard
See which channels actually send signals: when they post, what they trade, their buy and sell split, blocked signals and which have gone quiet.
The trade Journal (Pro)
A journal of your whole broker account with nothing to export: every trade, net result, profit factor, drawdown, balance and a calendar.
Desktop alerts and the tray
A notification for every copied, managed or blocked signal, and a tray icon that keeps copying after you close the window.
Safety and privacy
Pause, the news filter, late and duplicate signals, and what stays on your computer.
Pause copying in one click
One switch, or Ctrl+Shift+P, stops new trades. Closes and changes keep running, so the trades already open are still managed.
The news filter
Hold new trades around high-impact releases in the window you choose, per account. Closes, breakeven and changes always go through.
Late, duplicate and missed signals
A signal more than 2 minutes late is skipped, never opened late. A message delivered twice is copied once, and a dropped connection catches up.
What stays on your computer
Your Telegram session, trade settings, trade history and broker passwords stay on your computer. What does leave it, and why.
Quiet on Telegram
TradeMirrorly only reads. It never marks messages read or reacts unless you switch that on, and it never shows you online.
Help and troubleshooting
Why a trade didn't open, what a message means, remote support, updates and shortcuts.
Why wasn't my trade opened?
Signals says why a trade didn't open and what to do. The common reasons, from unknown symbols to closed markets, and the fix for each.
Nothing is copied: a checklist
When no signals are copied at all, check these in order: the pause switch, the channel switch, the account, the EA, then Signals.
License messages and what they mean
What 'already active on 2 of 2 devices', 'Copying is stopped', 'NOT LICENSED' and the EA's license messages mean, and the fix for each.
Remote support
Let the TradeMirrorly support team see your screen when you want help. Off until you switch it on; control and file transfer are separate switches.
Updates
TradeMirrorly updates itself and the EA together at its daily restart. How a new version is found, checked and installed.
Keyboard shortcuts
Move around TradeMirrorly without the mouse: page shortcuts, search, save, pause and the light or dark theme.
