MetaTrader 5: good to know

  • Use a hedging account

    A signal usually opens several trades, one per TP, so on MetaTrader 5 a hedging account works best.

  • Algo Trading, switched on

    Open with TradeMirrorly starts MT5 with the EA on a chart and Algo Trading on. If you attach it yourself, allow Algo Trading.

Does it work with my MT5 broker?

Yes, with any broker that offers MetaTrader 5, demo or live. If your broker names symbols differently (GOLD or XAUUSD, a .raw suffix), the app suggests the right names.

Do I need to copy EA files into MetaTrader?

No. The app lists every MetaTrader on your computer, installs the EA into the one you pick with one click, and opens it with the EA on a chart and automated trading on.

Which Telegram channels can I copy?

Channels, groups, forum topics and bots you're a member of. You sign in with your own Telegram account by scanning a QR code; the channel admin can't tell you're copying.

Do I need to keep my computer on?

Yes. TradeMirrorly and MetaTrader 5 run on the same computer, which can be a Windows VPS if you want copying to run around the clock.
